Ronda Roussey blames Holly Holm’s defeat at UFC 193 to a bad mouthguard and concussion


Ronda Rousey was regarded by many as the best women’s mixed-martial artist of all time during her prime in the sport. Her 12-0 record was unstoppable as she fought Holly Holm in the UFC 193 title fight. However, it marked the beginning of an end to her career.

Rowdy suffered a devastating loss of her bantamweight women’s title and undefeated streak less than a minutes into the second round. Ronda Rowdy has explained why she feels she lost that night, despite the fact it happened over eight years earlier.

Rousey spoke about her struggle in a new interview. According to recent reports, she had suffered concussions all throughout her UFC tenure.

“I was so tired of fighting after that defeat [to Holly Holm],” Rousey said in an interview with Valeria Lipovetsky. “I had suffered so many concussions that I couldn’t even take a jab at that point without getting one.”
