The boxing match between Nate Diaz vs. Jorge Masvidal has been scheduled for 1 June

Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal first fought at UFC 244 in November 2019 in the inaugural “BMF” symbolic title fight.  The doctor stopped the fight after the third-round due to cuts above Diaz’ right eyebrow and below it.   

The rematch is scheduled for June 1, at The Forum, Inglewood.  Masvidal posted the announcement via social media on Wednesday.  

“It’s official and it’s happening!! Deadman walking @NateDiaz209 June 1 – early pricing on sale NOW,” Masvidal posted on Instagram along with a promo for the fight.

Diaz confirmed the matchup via his social media.  He wrote “It’s official” on Instagram.  

Masvidal stated in a press release that Nate is a man who has died and is now walking. “I’m eager to show that the last match was not a fluke. The referee rescued him. He says boxing is his specialty, but I’m going to beat him. I won’t allow him to breathe even an inch inside the ring. This will be even worse. I’m going drown him.
