Things can take a dangerous turn in an instant in motorsports, and former UFC heavyweight Brandan Schaub found that out the hard way.
The 40-year-old driver flipped his truck off-road but was not seriously hurt in the terrifying rollover. He posted the video on social media Tuesday. In the accident, Schaub’s head was hit on the driver’s side window. He suffered a concussion.
The former fighter was violently thrown about during the crash and was fortunate to escape with no serious injuries.
“It’s all fun and games and we had some fun with it. Here’s the thing, thank God I wasn’t seriously hurt. I got a concussion, those suck, and I definitely didn’t need another one. But, it could’ve been a lot worse,” Schaub said on his YouTube channel discussing the accident.

Schaub was a guest on the 10th season of The Ultimate Fighter In 2009,, coached by Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Rashad Evans. Evans picked him as his second pick. He advanced to Evans’ finals and faced Roy Nelson. Nelson won TUF 10’s heavyweight tournament when he knocked out Schaub in round one.
Schaub has competed in the UFC ten times.
