Conor McGregor may not have competed in combat sports since two years ago, but that hasn’t stopped him from being successful outside the cage. The former UFC two division champion has made his debut in the acting world. Despite mixed reviews for his performance, it was a great success.

The Notorious was a key player in the 2024 remake Road House, a cult classic from 1989. Elwood Dalton, played by Jake Gyllenhaal, is a former UFC fighter now working as a roadhouse bouncer in the Florida Keys. He’s forced into a new life that takes a bad turn when he has to use his past fighting experience to fight off all the trouble that is thrown his way. This includes the ruthless Knox, played by Conor McGregor.

Road House, which was released on Prime Video less than one month ago, has been a huge success. The film set a new record, attracting 50 million global viewers within its first two weekend of release. It was the biggest opening for Prime Video in its 18 year history.

Conor McGregor has finished his movie career and is now ready to focus on his fighting career

It is wonderful for everyone involved in the production, but there’s one thing that stands out.
