Amanda Ribas UFC Vegas 89 Octagon Interview: 'I tried to do my best'

Amanda Ribas entered the UFC Vegas 89 main event on Saturday against former two-time strawweight champion Rose Namajunas looking to pick up a win over a future Hall of Famer.  

Ribas lost the unanimous decision.  Following the fight she was interview inside the octagon by fighter-turned broadcaster Paul Felder.  

“Rose’s a warrior.”  Ribas added, “I am also,” after the fight.  “I did my best, and I hope that the next fight will be even better.”

Ribas was ranked eighth when the match began.  Namajunas, who is likely to not fall far in the rankings with this loss, will be making her debut at flyweight inside the Top 10.
